 Angel's Proper Charlies
    Angel's "Proper" Charlies
This was, of course, a spoof on the oh-so-popular tv classic,
"Charlie's Angels" starring Angel, a Farrah Fawcett lookalike
and the three drooling dolts who followed her around all day
with their tongues on the floor. Angel would dupe the love-
struck trio into helping her get in to concerts and things, or
assist her in some way. It wasn't very fair, the way she
would hoodwink the three each week, without ever reconciling
their passion for her, but - hey - it serves 'em right for being
so sappy in the first place...

Fleetway strips frequently cashed in on the latest tv, film
and fashion trends and Angel's was a fine example. However,
it was somewhat disconcerting to find the lead character
sporting that adult-looking head on such a child-like body...

    Spooky, innit?

     Angel, she's no Charlie!
