    BOOTS EXCLUSIVES

    Boots and Aardman have been long-term partners.
    They led the High Street with their top-selling range
    of Wallace & Gromit goodies. When Chicken Run came
    along, they stocked a shed-load of other folk's licensed
    items and they introduced their own small range of
    exclusive editions as part of their Xmas 2000 line-up:


     

    Chicken Run figures
    Three exclusive resin figures were produced. They stood
    between 6 and 8 inches tall. Sadly, they weren't available
    in a lot of stores, so you had to make a special trip to
    to track 'em down...

    Rocky Hot Water Bottle Cover
    A warm Winter water bottle, or just a pyjama case, if you
    prefer. This one stood around two foot tall...


         

    Rocky's Sweeties
    This 8 inch tall ceramic egg had jelly beans inside...


    Chicken Run Mug
    There was at least one Boots Exclusive "Chicken Run"
    mug design in store from Portico. It featured Fowler,
    Rocky, Mac, Bunty, Ginger and Babs lined up against
    barbwire and it wasn't availble anywhere else...


       

    Chicken Slippers
    Top of the range were these chicken-shaped kids
    slippers, still a desirable item and much sought-after by
    collectors. I receive umpteen requests from folks seeking
    these, but I can only say this: All of these Boots products
    were de-listed back in 2001, which means you'll have to
    keep your eye on the secondhand markets, eBay and
    suchlike, to find any. But I can't say I like the idea of
    secondhand slippers (Yeek!)...
